Terms of Service

1. Who we are

LN COMMAND ("the Service") is operated by LeadNav Systems LLC ("LeadNav", "we"), a North Carolina limited liability company. These Terms govern your use of the Service at lncommand.com. By creating an account or purchasing a license you agree to these Terms.

2. Licenses, not subscriptions

Paid access to the Service is sold as a yearly license. You may pay for your license annually up front or monthly as a 12-month payment plan. The monthly option is a payment plan for an annual license — it is not a month-to-month subscription that can be started and stopped at will. Your license year begins on your purchase date.

Auto-renewal. Your license renews automatically each license year at then-current pricing, and — if your price is changing — we notify you at least 30 days before renewal (Section 4). You can cancel renewal at any time before your renewal date, self-serve, via Manage billing on your account page — no phone call, no email required.

License tiers (Free, Entry, Pro, Enterprise) differ in features, storage, and monthly credit allowance as described on the pricing page at the time of purchase.

3. Credits

• Monthly grants. Paid licenses include a monthly credit allowance, granted each month of your license year.
• Banking. Unused granted credits carry forward ("bank") automatically within your license year.
• Year-end expiry. Banked credits expire at the end of your license year. Upon renewal, up to one month's allowance of banked credits carries over as a loyalty bonus.
• Purchased packs. Separately purchased credit packs remain valid for 12 months from purchase and are not affected by your license-year end.
• Spend order. Usage draws first from the current month's grant, then banked credits, then purchased credits.
• Credits measure included service usage under your license. They are not stored monetary value, a gift card, a gift certificate, or a deposit; they have no cash value, are not transferable, and — except where required by law — are not refundable.

4. Pricing, price lock, and renewal

Your license price is locked for your license year. We may change pricing for new purchases at any time. If pricing applicable to your license changes, the new price takes effect only at your next renewal, and we will notify you at least 30 days before your renewal date. Renewal proceeds at then-current pricing unless you cancel before the renewal date.

5. Payments, cancellation, and downgrades

Payments are processed by Stripe; we do not store your card details.

• Annual-upfront licenses: full refund within 14 days of purchase if you change your mind. After that, the license is non-refundable and your access simply continues through the end of your license year.
• Cancelling the monthly payment plan early: your plan ends at the close of the month you've already paid for — you keep full access until that date, then your account moves to the Free plan. You are not billed for the remaining months of the license year. Banked credits are forfeited at cancellation (banking is a feature of a completed license year); purchased credit packs keep their own 12-month validity and are spendable again if you return to a paid plan. An account that cancels a monthly plan before its license year completes may re-purchase only as annual-upfront for the following 12 months.
• Downgrades (e.g., Pro to Entry): take effect at your next monthly boundary. Your license-year anchor and banked credits carry over; future monthly grants and features follow the new tier from that point.
• Your data is never the penalty: if you move to a smaller plan or to Free, we never delete your files. Content over the smaller plan's limits remains stored and accessible — you just can't add more until you're within limits or upgrade again.
• Disputes: a payment dispute or chargeback on active service may result in suspension of the account until the dispute is resolved.

6. Availability

The Service is currently offered to customers in the United States, Canada, and Australia. Purchases from other regions may be cancelled and refunded.

7. Your content

GPS files, routes, markers, and other content you upload remain yours. You grant us only the rights needed to host, process, and display that content to you (and, on Enterprise multi-seat plans, to your seat members) as part of the Service. We never sell your data or use it for advertising.

8. AI features and navigation safety

Some features (including the Juliet assistant) use third-party AI providers to process your requests and file contents. AI output is assistive and best-effort. The Service is a planning aid only — it is not a certified navigation device. Always verify routes, boundaries, fuel stops, terrain, and safety information independently against official and on-the-ground sources, and exercise your own judgment in the field. You assume all responsibility and risks associated with using the Service, and you are solely responsible for navigation decisions and their consequences.

9. Acceptable use

You agree not to: abuse, probe, or disrupt the Service; access another account's data; resell access; use automated means to create accounts or consume credits; or use the Service for unlawful purposes. We may suspend accounts that violate these Terms.

10. Complimentary access and promotions

Complimentary ("comped") access, ambassador arrangements, and promotional discounts are discretionary, may carry an expiration, and may be modified or withdrawn.

11. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, LeadNav shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, including lost profits, lost data, or equipment damage, or for loss arising from navigation decisions (see Section 8). LeadNav's total liability for any claim will not exceed the greater of $50 USD or the amounts you paid us for the Service in the 12 months preceding the claim.

12. Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time (subject to Section 5). We may terminate or suspend access for material breach. Upon account deletion, your content is removed per the Privacy Policy.

13. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms; material changes will be notified in-app or by email at least 30 days before taking effect. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.

14. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of North Carolina, USA, excluding conflict-of-law rules. Any disputes will be resolved through binding arbitration in North Carolina under the rules of the American Arbitration Association (AAA). Claims must be brought on an individual basis; class actions, consolidated claims, or representative proceedings are not permitted. Either party may instead bring an individual claim in small-claims court where jurisdiction permits.
